What we collect

• Account details. If you create an account we store your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Gameplay. Which daily puzzles you completed and whether you solved them, so we can show your stats and streak.
• Local storage. Your theme choice and today's result are stored in your browser so the site remembers them. This never leaves your device.

What we don't do

We don't show ads, and we don't run advertising or analytics trackers. We don't sell your data or share it with third parties except the service providers described below.

Service providers

• Vercel — hosts the site and serves each request.
• Turso — the database that stores your account and gameplay history.
• Resend — sends account emails (welcome and password resets). It processes your email address only to deliver those messages.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is httpOnly, meaning scripts on the page cannot read it. We set no advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can play the daily puzzle without an account. If you have one, you can delete it at any time — deleting an account permanently removes your email and your gameplay history. Email privacy@geolister.com to request deletion or a copy of your data.

Children

GeoLister is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top of this page.
